Breakfast was small, but enough for us. The hotel felt cosy, though the rooms were small and could have been cleaner.

We stayed in the Sylt room, as you can see in the photos. It was on the ground floor and easy to get around in. The family-run hotel has a lovely theme, and breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

That roof terrace is really nice. The place is fairly central, the rooms are pleasant and spotless, and the service was good. Breakfast was good too. Whether it suits you depends on what you're looking for and planning, but we were very happy and would recommend it.

There are several cafes and restaurants an easy walk away, which made this a handy base for exploring the area. It's a charming independent hotel right in town, with carefully decorated rooms and thoughtful touches for comfort. The breakfast buffet was generous, and the coffee was excellent. There's also an outdoor bike shed with storage and charging for bike batteries.

I've stayed here several times over the years and would happily come back. The rooms are lovingly decorated, and breakfast is delicious, including scrambled eggs made from REAL eggs! It's owner-operated and within walking distance of restaurants and wineries in Kallstadt.
