The village is lovely, and the rooms are decent, though you can hear plumbing from neighboring rooms. Service was quite forgetful: they didn’t tell us about parking or that it was a festival weekend in the village, forgot to turn the heating down at night, and never asked how our stay was.

Everything was nice and clean, and the service was good. The room was simple. I’d recommend it for an overnight stay.

The setting among the vineyards is great, but dogs aren’t allowed in the main building, so we had to stay in the so-called "Wine Castle." Those rooms are tiny and unappealing, though impeccably clean. What bothered us most was how consistently unfriendly the staff were. We were there with two other couples, and all of us had the same experience. The manager was genuinely nice, but for this price range everything else felt unacceptable, from the cold welcome at reception to dinner and breakfast. The food itself was good, both at breakfast and dinner, but the online reviews had led us to expect more finesse.
