Haus Frisia has never felt like a holiday rental to me. It is home, and a place that holds a lasting place in my heart. I was lucky enough to enjoy happy holidays here 60 years ago, when Alma Knudsen was the first host. Wherever I am in the world, just thinking of the house and all the good times in every room brings me to a sudden calm. I hope the spirit of all the generations will always stay with Haus Frisia. For our autumn break on Sylt, we booked five nights at Haus Frisia in Kampen. From the first phone call and booking through to the stay, everything was very satisfactory. The apartment is modern and beautifully decorated, and we really appreciated being in touch with the owner, who lives in the building. The dunes and bus stop are very close, and the village shop is only a few minutes away on foot. I can wholeheartedly recommend the apartment. If we return to Kampen next year, Haus Frisia will be our first choice.

Kampen's quiet side street was a lovely setting for our stay at Haus Frisia, and we could really enjoy the beautiful area. The Runkel family took such good care of the house and ran it with impressive organization. Every detail showed their care. They made us feel special while still giving us space, which is a rare quality. The rooms were in excellent condition and comfortable, with everything we needed provided. A heartfelt thank you to the Runkel family. We hope to come back.
