Ferienhaus Heimathafen

The four of us, including our children aged three and one, had a really lovely short break at Heimathafen. We booked through Port54 for December 27, 2021 to January 2, 2022, after our earlier booking for Ostseeliebe in Olpenitz for late 2020 and early 2021 had to be cancelled because of the pandemic. Port54 handled that cancellation free of charge and without any trouble. After a windy, rainy day at the Baltic Sea beach, a five-minute drive or 25-minute walk away, the fireplace and comfortable underfloor heating warmed us up nicely. The little one-person sauna was a cozy finishing touch, and the kids loved the bathtub. The kitchen had everything we needed, which made meals easy. It was also handy to have Edeka in Olpenitz and Rewe in Kappeln nearby, both well stocked with a good range of products. We did notice a few problems at the house and, worried about our security deposit, checked things carefully. We told Ms. Rasmussen at Port 54, and soon got a call back and a quick solution tailored to the situation. That got our relaxing break back on track. The property was great, and the service from Port 54 was even better. Ms. Rasmussen answered our questions promptly and courteously before and after the stay.
