There’s no restaurant or evening facilities, check-in is automated, and there’s no proper reception service. The place felt largely unattended, with no visible security or real staff presence. That didn’t feel reassuring or welcoming for the price. The bathroom is old, the fittings are worn, and the whole room feels dated rather than modern. It came across like an old motorway hotel charging mid-range rates. If it were cheap, I’d have different expectations, but at this price it’s poor value. We previously paid half as much at another hotel and had a much better experience and more staff around. We wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it. Update: The hotel replied publicly, but didn’t address the lack of staff or security, the disturbance at night after 22:00, or unrestricted access from the underground parking. They offered no compensation or explanation.

From check-in through checkout, everything went smoothly and efficiently. The staff were very courteous and ready to help with a smile, and the room was comfortable and beautifully maintained, a great place to relax. I had an absolutely delightful stay at Hotel PLAZA INN Karlsruhe Nord and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We were so comfortable here. The room was clean and cozy, with a very nice modern bathroom and all the towels we needed. Our kitchenette had a fridge, dishes, cups, flatware, and some basic pots and pans, so we could cook instead of eating out all the time. Lidl is within walking distance, too. 😍 Accessibility was the main reason I picked this hotel, and it delivered. You can roll straight in from the entrance to the front door with no stairs or curb, and the elevator was essential. The room itself was very wheelchair friendly. The front desk people were wonderful and so helpful, and made us feel like we were staying with friends. I didn’t actually see the people who clean the hotel, but they clearly work hard to keep everything looking so nice. A big thumbs-up to everyone here! 👍😃

We’ll definitely come again. It’s family friendly, the staff were very nice, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Breakfast is a classic hotel breakfast at 13 euro, and it’s nice that children don’t have to pay. The hotel is old but was recently renovated, so it worked well for a one-night stop.

The rooms are spacious, clean, and set up with the right amenities. Breakfast runs from 6 AM to 10 AM, so you can sleep in if you need to. The location isn’t very convenient for getting around Karlsruhe, but the staff are more than happy to help arrange a taxi. A proper hotel for a short trip away from home, and I can recommend it.
