Erbprinzenhof garni

I booked a double room for nine nights. It was spacious enough for one person, quiet and clean, with a good-sized bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated being able to leave my luggage there. The location is excellent, close to trams, shopping, museums and restaurants. There was no fridge or room safe, though you could leave valuables at the front desk. The Wi-Fi was spotty and weak where my room was. The blackout curtains could have been wider to give full privacy and block out the light. Breakfast was offered, but I wasn't able to try it.

The staff were helpful, and the rooms were very clean and quiet. Shopping and a very nice restaurant area are just a few minutes away on foot. The tram gives you a convenient connection to the train station, and you can walk to great museums, the castle and the botanical garden in a few minutes. Right in downtown Karlsruhe.

I was visiting KIT, and the location was very convenient. The hotel is right in the center.

The location is handy, almost in the city center, with everything close by. Rooms are large, clean, and well equipped, and the staff are nice. The building feels a bit old-fashioned, from the elevator to the regular door keys. I would have liked some hot breakfast options, but it’s a very nice hotel overall.
