Hotel Winterrot

The room looked nice, with a hint of luxury without being too fancy. The bed was comfortable, though I brought my own pillow and didn't try the hotel's. The soundproofing was really good, so I couldn't hear anything from outside the room. The airco came on at one point and made it a little cold, but I could turn it off and control the temperature myself. The scent sticks smelled nice, though too strong for me, so I put them in the closet. No problem. The staff were kind throughout. The man at the desk told us the dinner times, smiled when we came downstairs later, and asked after dinner how we liked it, seeming to really want our opinion. The restaurant worker was friendly too. She asked if we wanted English menus, though the translations weren't very good, which might be worth noting for the restaurant. When the sun was in my eyes, she happily lowered the blinds and was patient while we took a little time to decide. The woman checking us in at breakfast was also patient and understanding when communication got a bit wonky. The restaurant felt great and cosy. It closed at 10 or 9, I don't remember, but I took about 10 minutes longer to finish eating and the staff waited patiently. I had the veggie burger and it was amazing, very delicious. I definitely recommend it. The hotel is at an industrial site, which isn't the nicest view, but the parking was very good in a private lot for the hotel. We went for a walk and found a town very nearby, which was nice. The crickets were really annoying, though, so ear-piercingly loud that I had to close my window. That has nothing to do with the hotel itself, but I wanted to mention it.
