Pension Stadtmitte

The price was affordable, and it was the cheapest place I could find for my dates through booking.com. It’s a standard pension in a good area, with clean shared toilets, free tea and coffee, and the basic services covered. My room was private and had its own shower, though the toilet was shared. The style is old, the Wi-Fi was unstable, and there was loud noise from outside. I’d asked to arrive around 21:00 and they confirmed by email. We tried updating our arrival time in the booking app but got no reply, so when we arrived there was nobody at reception. I found a number and called on WhatsApp, and check-in was easy after that. I messaged about a hair dryer at 22:00 and he replied, which was nice, but I couldn’t find one 😅

Getting around Karlsruhe was easy from here, with the tram stop very close and the main street just steps away. The price for what you get is extraordinary, and breakfast is included. It was a good German breakfast. The owners were friendly and attentive, the room was very clean, and the Wi-Fi worked well enough for Netflix. There’s also a lift, which came in handy with heavy baggage. I really had a great stay and nothing disappointed me.

Our room was tidy and the location was first class. We arrived two hours late on X Mas day, but the owner was super friendly and found a way to let us in. He was very friendly and made solving the problem easy.

I’ve stayed here more than five times, and the quality, staff, and location have been the best every time. It’s the best place to stay in Karlsruhe for me. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
