We’ve stayed with Herr Gerard u. Frau Anita Jollit four times now, and this feels like the finest French restaurant we’ve ever enjoyed, even though it’s in Germany. They came from France in 1981 to pursue a lifelong dream in this special restaurant building, and it’s clearly become what they hoped for. The atmosphere, attention to detail, fresh and immensely tasty ingredients, and impeccable service are hard to capture in a short review. Highly recommended.

What a sweet little place. We couldn’t stay or eat there, unfortunately, but they showed us a couple of rooms and they were so nicely done. The restaurant looked really inviting too, but we got caught up and didn’t make it in time. Maybe another time. All the best.

On May 8, 2014, Farah and I had a wonderful meal. The service was first class, the food was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful, and the wine list was excellent. I drove two hours from France for the experience.

Excellent quality fine dining, and they’re friendly about dietary restrictions. I especially loved the wine.

The wine list and menu are both high quality. Prices sit in the medium-high range, but that feels in line with what you get. A wonderful restaurant.
