I can't recommend this hotel at all. It's badly neglected: the grass around it is at least 20-30 cm high, and plaster and tiles are crumbling off the facades. The place is filthy, and I even found black hairs in the bed. I have to wonder who reviewed this hotel, because surely it wasn't the guests themselves. In my opinion, it doesn't deserve even one star.
Just to be clear, this review may contain slight traces of irony. xD The food is top-notch, and the location right in the city center is truly admirable. Everything is very modern and new, and the rooms are huge. Again, there may be slight traces of irony here.
Calling this place a "hotel" has to be a joke. We arrived at 6 p.m. and everything was locked. The room was very basic, the shower was absolutely filthy, and more water came from the hose than the showerhead. See photo!
The breakfast was fantastic, with everything from muesli and cornflakes to bread and rolls, cold cuts, jams, sweets, and fruit. I hadn't had such a spread in a very long time. Our room was spacious and nicely furnished, and I felt right at home after the warm welcome and being shown straight to it. I booked this for a convention and was initially skeptical because the outside looked rather unassuming. Getting around takes a little planning: public transport is a 7-15 minute walk depending on the line, and Call-A-Bike or Konrad stations are 10-15 minutes away on foot. The nearby REWE and Netto are handy for groceries, and there's a barbecue and a McDonald's easy to reach too. I'd gladly stay here again. It's absolutely worth the price.
From the outside, you can tell it's a hotel, but it really doesn't look like one. The place is very inconspicuous, and it seems like nobody takes care of the outdoor area. I wonder if it's even still a hotel. Sorry.
