I liked how cozy and relaxing the place felt, with big windows facing the street and a nicely decorated corridor. There’s a ramp at the entrance, handy for luggage as well as wheelchairs, but two steps lead up to the lift. It’s close to the train station, which is convenient. My first-floor room faced the main street, though, and trams and traffic were noisy even at night. Nice for a rest, but not for sleeping.

The room was comfortable, the people were nice, and the location was convenient. Train noise can get loud, but there were earplugs in the room, and they also provided a fan that blocked it out perfectly. We had a great stay at this cute hotel.

I missed the 12:30 train in Cassel yesterday and, tired, went to this hotel at 1:00 to book a room. The receptionist was so arrogant that we ended up discussing rooms and prices outside in the cold. He didn’t invite me in, and when I asked to see photos of the room, he brushed me off and said they had none, in such a condescending way that I was speechless. It made me feel awful. I agreed to book anyway, despite not seeing photos and still being left outside in the freezing weather. Once we finally went in, check-in took about 30 minutes because he was so slow. I’m giving the hotel one star and don’t recommend it because of that receptionist’s arrogant, dismissive, unwelcoming attitude.

The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful. It’s just a few steps from the train station, with lots of food places and shops nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and I enjoyed the breakfast and bar. A fantastic place to stay. Thank you! -JCIWI

After more than 8 hours on the train, we got stranded overnight in Kassel by DB and this hotel was a haven. They had a double room free for the night even though we hadn’t reserved one. It was clean, the shower was hot, and the staff were very nice. Exactly what we needed, thank you so much!
