It was handy for the train station, and the room was clean. It also looked as if it had been renovated recently.

Hotel Excelsior was perfectly fine, nothing too fancy. My room was clean and the staff were helpful. In the rush to catch my train at checkout, I left a bag behind. They put it aside and shipped it back to me.

The service staff were courteous and professional, and for the price it was surprisingly good. The interior could do with an update, but it’s a very good option if you don’t want to spend too much.

Bars, restaurants, shopping malls and discos are all nearby, right in the middle of the city. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the staff are helpful.

The reception had a cigarette smell, though the rooms were clean and the service was polite.
