We got such a warm welcome from a wonderful hostess, and communication with her was excellent. The apartment was fantastic and equipped with everything we needed. It would work just as well for a quick break as for a longer visit. A beautiful holiday spot, highly recommended. 👍👍😊

At the start of October, we spent almost a week in the apartment, two adults, a child, and a dog, and were very happy with it. Its size, furnishings, condition, and location suited our stay in the Hunsrück region perfectly. The landlords were lovely, and they always replied quickly and in a friendly way. We can wholeheartedly recommend the place. Top-notch! 👍

We’re so glad we found this place for visits to our hometown in the Hinterland. The hosts are really friendly, and the value for money is unbeatable. It’s always a pleasure to stay here: clean, lovely, and well equipped. The location works perfectly, with a supermarket close by.

With room for six, the apartment could easily have housed a bigger group, though there were just two of us. The hostess and her parents gave us all the information we needed and were attentive while still respecting our privacy, even though we were “living in the same house.” In Kastellaun, it’s also a handy base for walks nearby, including the circular route to Baldiunseck Castle, which is practically a must. EDEKA is just around the corner, so self-catering is easy, and the open kitchen makes cooking together inviting, perhaps with a glass of Mosel Riesling. It’s tastefully and modernly furnished, with nothing missing. It really earns the name “Jewel,” cheesy as I find that name.
