Getting a room here was surprisingly straightforward, and finding the place was easy too. We paid 110€ for one night in November for three people, which felt very affordable. The room was tidy and roomy for two beds, and the beds were comfortable. Restaurants and coffee shops are an easy walk from the town center location. If you’re just passing through and need somewhere to sleep, this worked really well for us.

We picked Pension Zwei A for a Bayer Leverkusen match, and the price was about €60 for two people for the night, which is very reasonable compared with hotels these days. It’s close to the train station, and there’s parking at a nearby P+R. Buses are easy to catch, and the B04 match ticket also covered them. There wasn’t any face-to-face check-in since we got the key from a machine at the front door, but messages were answered quickly and the rooms were clean. Returning the key to the same box was simple. After the match and a few drinks at the pub, we had seven döner kebab places around the hotel to choose from for a late snack.
