Friendly service and a handy location. The food was tasty, nicely prepared, and there was a good range of fresh ingredients. The photo shows Schnitzel mit Zwiebel-Biersauce und Bratkartoffeln. Definitely worth a visit.

The village is beautiful, and the cycle lane from Trier is charming. The surroundings are stunning, and I’m glad I found this gem. The hotel itself is great, with an exceptionally comfortable room and lovely views. Staff were efficient and friendly, the terrace was pleasant, and the food was great. Breakfast featured lovely local delicacies. You can feel the passion and competence here.

For 18€, that ragout was worth every bit. It was the best I’ve ever had, rich and rounded, woody and meaty with a little sweetness. The Rot Kohl was also lovely, finely seasoned.

We ate here twice while cycling nearby with the family. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the food was well cooked and served, often with local ingredients. We’re planning to come back next year.

We had a couple of non-alcoholic wheat beers, then got back on the trail. This place sits right on the Ruwer-Hochwald bike trail, with the patio looking out over it. The servers are all really friendly, and the food has always been good. Last time I had steelhead trout. Great spot.
