If you want to reconnect with nature, this is a good spot. The hotel isn’t bad, and the breakfast is very good, so you definitely won’t go hungry. I’d choose a room on the lake side, though. The single rooms facing the forest need repairs.

I’ve been here for four weeks, and couldn’t find anything wrong with the place. There’s a beautiful lake in front of the hotel that you can walk around, and the location is good for Luxembourg, Metz, and Trier. The staff are kind, helpful, and professional. My room was clean, the Wi-Fi worked fine, which is rare in Germany, and the bed was comfortable. There was also a big bathroom, huge living room, and a TV of a proper size. These five stars are well deserved. I’d recommend the hotel and might come back. If you’re still reading, just come and enjoy.

There were lots of mosquitoes in the room. In the breakfast room, the old lady was shouting at people who weren’t locals.

A very nice, clean hotel in a very, very quiet spot. There’s nothing around, just a small lake, which is the place to stay for a few days if you’re after peace. Trier is about 25 km away.
