There isn't much else to do nearby, but the on-site restaurant is good for dinner. I haven't tried lunch. This is a small hotel outside Cologne, about a 40-minute drive from Cologne Messe, with reasonable prices. There's no lift, so avoid heavy bags unless you can get a ground-floor room. Breakfast is basic, and the sheets need changing. It could suit people driving through or visiting for business.

The bathroom in the one-bedroom unit was lovely and very spacious. The price and the last-minute availability worked out perfectly. Remember to bring cash.

The rooms were lovely and the hotel was so quiet that I didn't see any other guests. Maybe things still haven't returned to normal after Covid, but I really hope they do. It's a great place.

This place means a lot to me. The chefs, Eliah, if I'm saying her name right, and Peter, are the best. I also love Susana in the kitchen. She cooks up a storm, whether it's soup, steak, or chicken breast. You have to try the steak. Five stars for this place. It's not a modern hotel, but the food, service, and cosy accommodation make up for that. I'll be back. Thanks so much, with love from Scotland.

A nice family run hotel where every room has its own theme. Breakfast is available. The bar was being refurbished during my stay.
