I’m visiting from Canada, where Alberta AAA Prime beef is well known, and I’ve tried steak in plenty of places. Still, everything I’d tasted before was nothing compared with the beef steak at this hotel restaurant. It was delicious and unique. Get it with onion sauce and crunchy potatoes. Jurgen is the host, and he’s the man who makes it happen. I can’t describe the steak any better, but even weeks later, I’m still dreaming about it. It’s worth a two-hour trip just for that steak.

The internet was spotty, but the free breakfast was acceptable. Dinner was great, and I’d stay here again. Nice place, with modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, and helpful, friendly staff.

They went out of their way to find me a quiet room and make sure I was happy there. The hotel staff were super friendly, and I had a wonderful time. It’s comfortable, and the food at La Mirage is excellent. I can only recommend this place, and I can’t wait to come back next year.

Parking took a bit of figuring out, but I managed in the end. From outside, you wouldn’t expect such a beautiful hotel. The service was exceptional and made us feel at home. Both dinner and breakfast were exquisite, with everything freshly made and nothing missing. We’ll definitely come back next year when the Hockenheimring starts up again.
