Mary´s Ferienwohnung

The garden is a real plus: it's large and securely fenced, and the owner uses it too since they live in the same house. That didn't bother us, though. The owner is friendly and speaks good English as well as a little Dutch. We came for five days with our dog. The bathroom is basic, but clean and modern, and the place is a lovely, affordable getaway. We got a friendly welcome, and I'm curious to see how the rest of our stay goes.

Getting around on foot is easy from Mary's vacation apartment in Kevelaer. DM, Takko, the basilica, and the town center are all about five minutes away, while Edeka is roughly six minutes on foot. Tobias was friendly and walked us through everything clearly. Inside, the apartment is bright, spacious, and very clean. There was a slight musty smell when we arrived, probably because it hadn't been used for a while. The one small hassle was parking: the street is busy and has no marked spaces.

We could walk everywhere, and the host was friendly. The garden was lovely too. The apartment was clean and welcomed pets. Although it's beside a busy road and railway line, we didn't hear any noise. A bed creaked very loudly, and the frying pan's handle was loose. Still, definitely worth a visit.

We felt right at home. It's clean, comfortably furnished, in a great location, and dogs are welcome.
