The hotel was very clean, and the employees were friendly and helpful. I know European hotels can differ from American ones, so these are just things I missed: a refrigerator, a chair with a back, a bigger work table, and air conditioning that works in winter. I was lucky it was cool enough to sleep with the window open. If it had been warmer outside, I don’t think I would have slept well. I also had trouble with the lobby vending machine. It worked on Sunday, but another night it charged my card twice when it failed to dispense a beer. After the transactions processed, just one of the two charges was refunded. Not a huge deal, but I wanted to mention it. They only provided paper cups, so I bought a glass one to use during the week. I’d have liked a larger room, too.

The area was quiet and easy to reach. My stay was short, so I didn’t have breakfast. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable.

We picked this hotel for a football trip because it’s near the stadium in Kiel. The room suited us well, and the reception staff were friendly. Breakfast was fine, though nothing special. For the money, it offered really good value.

The place felt cozy and like home, and it was clean. Everyone was so kind and helpful, always greeting me with a smile :) Thanks for taking such good care of me, I really enjoyed staying here! A comment from Taiwan 💛

The person at reception was helpful and found me a dry cleaner 1.5 km away, but getting my shirts pressed there cost me two hours of a business trip. Losing that much of a workday while traveling for business is extremely much. The hotel has no iron or ironing board, which makes it a poor fit for business stays longer than 1-2 days. Even hostels offer an iron. They said it was to avoid fire risk, but other options would be possible: irons with an automatic shutoff, a dedicated room or space for guests to iron, or an ironing service. None of those are available.
