Being so close to the city center is a real plus. Still, the hotel could use some renovation, especially the bathrooms and beds. There’s no elevator, and we also had no working wifi during the last three days of our stay. They said the telecom company was to blame. I also missed having a refrigerator in the room.

The staff were very nice, and breakfast was okay, but we had several problems. With the wifi down, we couldn’t use the internet or get the keys to the entrance and room, so we had to call the emergency number to be let into the building. The room, especially the bathroom, was quite dirty, and the bed was very uncomfortable.

There’s not much around the hotel apart from a really old galleria, and it takes a bit of a walk to reach Kiel’s main street. Inside, the beds were nice, the breakfast was small but good, and parking in the same building was cheap. It was HOT in the room when we stayed on the warmest day in history, since there’s no climate control. That was an extraordinary day, though, so I don’t blame them. The staff were nice.

Just five minutes from the shopping area, with a very good location. The rooms were spacious and totally clean, the interior was nice, and the wifi was strong. Friendly staff and a fantastic breakfast. I’ll come again.

The location is great and it’s a good hotel, though the rooms are dusty.
