We only stayed for one night, but it was a really pleasant visit. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms felt spacious and very clean. Breakfast was nice, though not especially memorable. The windows could use bigger curtains to keep the light out.

Everything was fine for a one-night stay. Clean, simple hotel near the MSC cruise terminal, with a quiet setting, comfortable beds, a good breakfast, and friendly service.

The bus stop is right across from the hotel, with buses toward the city and toward Laboe or Monckberg, which makes getting around very easy. I still prefer the ferry into town, and it's an easy walk to it. There are also two supermarkets nearby. The area itself is quiet, the staff are always really nice, and breakfast has a good range of choices. There's a restaurant and a cute beer terrace too, though it closes around 20:00-21:00 depending on the season.

The surroundings aren't especially central, and the bus ride to central Kiel takes about 30 minutes, though the stop is nearby and buses come every 10 minutes. There are local restaurants within a reasonable walk. The room was a good size, with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. Reception and the other staff were very friendly and looked after the room and other things, though their English was a little slow. I'd give the room 4/5, staff 4/5, surroundings 3/5, and the stay 3.5/5.

A comfortable stay overall. It was quiet and felt safe, with clean rooms, good service, WiFi, and easy transport. There isn't an elevator, the city centre is about 30 minutes away by bus, and the nearest grocery shop or cafe is a 10-minute walk.
