Villa Puppenhaus

The host was really friendly, and the house was clean. We had a great experience.

The common room was a lovely place to have breakfast and spend the evenings. All six of us had our own spacious, well-kept room with a bathroom and toilet, and we stayed at the Dollhouse for a week. Getting there by train and bus was easy: we were met at the Immenstaad bus stop, and they took care of our luggage. We also went shopping for breakfast food, drinks, and other essentials, and the shopping was delivered to the Dollhouse. After outings, if we were tired and the short uphill walk back felt like too much, one phone call was enough for someone to pick us up. The owners are simply wonderful, friendly, and always ready to help. I've already recommended the villa to other people, including families with children. All the best, and have a great time! We found the place tastefully furnished and very well situated for excursions. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, and we had everything we needed. Drinks are available right there at moderate prices, which was especially handy. We had a very pleasant stay, would happily come back anytime, and can wholeheartedly recommend the accommodation.

The location made it easy to plan lovely outings. Meersburg is close by, and from there we took the ferry to Konstanz; a bus from there can also get you to places such as Mainau Island. In winter, free parking in Immenstaad and free bus rides from there to places like Friedrichshafen with the BodenseeCard worked perfectly for continuing by train. We spent New Year's Eve at "Villa Puppenhaus" and had a wonderful time. Our "Bergblick" suite was comfortable and beautifully furnished. After the cold days, relaxing in the sauna and bathtub in the evenings was especially nice. The gallery kitchen was very well stocked, and we didn't lack a thing. We brought our own drinks and barely used the chilled drinks sold at fair prices, but still thought that was a great option. The complimentary schnapps and liqueurs were a nice touch too. Both hosts were friendly and helpful. We took off a star because there was no option to charge an electric car. There were only a few charging stations nearby, and they were often all in use. The apartments also have poor soundproofing, so we could sometimes hear every word from next door. The old floorboards are noisy too, and someone walking to the bathroom at night could wake you up.
