The owner was cheerful, accommodating, and friendly. We also got a welcome bottle of water and free parking. The old house has been beautifully refurbished, with tasteful decor and a really personal feel. It’s chic enough to feel like a design boutique venue.

The design has a special atmosphere. I loved how the owners kept the old features and combined them so skillfully with the newer parts of the house. The rooms have air conditioning, comfortable new furniture, and a clean, modern bathroom. It was a really comfortable, up-to-date room, and the hosts were very friendly.

We came for Expo in Friedrichshafen, and the hotel is about a 15-minute drive away in a small village. Our room was clean, spacious, and seemed recently renovated. It had a coffee machine, kettle, tea, coffee, and even a small fridge. The beds were comfy and had a nice farmers style. There’s a shared area with a microwave, cutlery, cups, and plates, plus parking. Reception is open 24/24, and the hosts are lovely and happy to offer advice if you need it. Definitely recommend.

The host couple spent seven years renovating the whole house, which is incredible. It’s a lovely place with a terrace, set in a very quiet town.

A cosy little hotel in a lovely spot, close to Bodensee. You can go for bike rides or walk through the grape fields, and attractions for kids like Affenberg and Meersburg are nearby. The bed was comfortable, and there was coffee and tea.
