AMC Apartments - Bundesallee

There was plenty of space and the furniture was very good. Only problem was there wasn't any air conditioning.

There's a lot provided in the room: a vacuum cleaner, iron, both filter and capsule coffee machines, toaster, kettle, washing machine, and cooking utensils. The apartments are clean and very well kept, and late checkout was no problem. The location by Kurfürstendamm subway station is excellent. For the area and what's included, the price is reasonable.

Our Bundesallee apartment faced a peaceful courtyard and had loads of space. The kitchen was well equipped, and there was even a washing machine in the bathroom. Supermarkets were right next door, with a playground 150 meters away. Ludwigkirchplatz and Kurfürstendamm were a 10-15 minute walk, and two subway lines stopped right outside.

The apartment was spacious, but that was about its only redeeming point. The beds and towels were freshly made and clean; everything else, especially the bathroom, and the furniture and kitchen equipment, was filthy. We had to clean it ourselves after a cleaning company was supposedly there. The musty smell wouldn't go away even with the windows open. For two nights, several times each night, neighbors or other tenants shouted aggressively in the hall and paced outside our door. It jolted us awake. The door seemed so flimsy a six-year-old could kick it in, which didn't make us feel safe. Never again.
