The building has character, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Our room was bright, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed the warm bread and hard boiled eggs at breakfast, and the front desk is open 24 hours. It’s just a few minutes’ walk to several train lines and lots of restaurants, which made it easy to get around the city. We loved this place!

Easy to get to, with very pleasant staff and clean rooms and shared areas. Breakfast was a little basic, but at this price I can’t complain much. A great little hotel, and I’d definitely recommend it!

The advertised lavish breakfast buffet was the worst part: stale prebaked rolls from a gas station, a little cheese and cold cuts, a cold soft-boiled egg, no yogurt or anything similar, and no milk. We skipped it for the rest of our stay and went to the bakery. Not recommended, especially at this price. The room itself was okay, with a large bathroom, but it really needed a thorough clean, especially the shower cubicle. There were no towel hooks or hairdryer, which I think should be standard. We were on the second floor with no elevator, past apartments that were still in use. The hotel is directly on Frankfurter Allee, so street noise was expected and the windows had to stay closed. Parking was scarce, though we managed.
