The owners are really lovely, and everything was taken care of. Perfect, 11/10.

We had a very pleasant couple of days in the servants' quarters, with lovely chats with the landlady. Mrs. Finsel-Koch welcomed us warmly and showed us briefly how to use the coffee machine and heating. Breakfast was laid out with care each morning: plenty of rolls for four, yogurt, butter, three kinds of jam, cold cuts and cheeses, fresh fruit and vegetables for garnish, and eggs if requested. We could make coffee ourselves, and there were several teas to choose from. The machine also dispensed hot water. The bed and sofa bed were comfortable. We couldn’t make use of the outdoor area because of the weather. Europa-Park is about a 15-minute drive away.

Nicole and Rainer made us feel more cared for and warmly welcomed than we ever have before. The location and accommodation were wonderful, and they even looked after our dog, Aris, so we could enjoy a carefree day at Europa Park. We were sorry to leave when our holiday came to an end. All the best to you both, and please keep doing what you do. We’ll definitely come back the next time we’re in the Black Forest.

Shops, cafés and restaurants are all within walking distance, and the guesthouse is easy to get to. We came as a couple with our dog in winter and felt comfortable right from the start, thanks to a smooth arrival and such a warm welcome. The property is very well looked after and makes a great first impression. There’s a fully fenced garden for guests, which gave our dog a safe place to run around. Inside, the furnishings are modern, the accommodation is clean, and we found everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The owner was incredibly friendly and personable, too. We highly recommend it. The positive reviews are well deserved.
