The restaurant was a real highlight for our work seminar. The food was freshly made each day and tasted great, and on some evenings they had BBQ events or all-you-can-eat buffets. The hotel sits high on a hill with a good view over the surrounding area, though having a car is a good idea since the nearest train station is about an hour away on foot. I stayed for a week, and the room worked fine: the bed was comfortable, and while the bathroom was a bit narrow, it was perfectly adequate. I'd recommend it especially for company seminars.

The breakfast had a good range of food, including local products, and the room was nice. The mattress seemed a bit worn, though, so the bed wasn't very comfortable.

You really can't beat the Franconian beers, and the deer ragu was fantastic.
