The noise from cleaning upstairs woke me around 8 or 9 a.m., even though I expected to get proper rest after checking in. The staff seemed to be slamming things and stomping across the floor, making it hard for guests below to sleep peacefully. Before I had checked out, a housekeeping staff member suddenly showed up and tried to open my door without warning. I don't understand why the internal system wouldn't show that I was still checked in. Someone trying to enter my room while I'm officially staying there raises serious privacy and safety concerns, and left me deeply uneasy. The whole experience was disruptive and unprofessional. I won't stay at or recommend any of your properties in the future.

The staff behaved professionally, but the rest left a lot to be desired. This is an old hotel with only superficial renovations. You can see old finishing material painted over on many walls, and paint marks on doorframes and furniture. The smoke detectors look especially neglected, with yellowed plastic that seems straight from the 1980s. There wasn't even a glass in the room. Breakfast was poor and exactly the same for four days in a row, with no changes to the food. Arriving early in the morning, the reception area reeked of overcooked bacon. For €100 a night, this feels overpriced and low value. At best, it meets two-star standards, and I can't understand how it got three stars. There's no gym, and I’ve found the conditions at Ibis much more appealing in recent years, despite it costing 25% less.

Check-in was the worst I've had in over 10 years. One person was incredibly unfriendly, while the other tried to help but couldn't sort it out with Debitor, so I had to pay in cash. What should have been a business trip turned into a private pleasure trip without any pleasure.

The location right beside the train station is hard to beat. It was easy to get to and from the train, the main bus station is just outside, and groceries are a five-minute walk away. The rooms were clean and modern, the bed comfortable, and the hotel quiet. The staff were friendly and the place seemed fairly updated. There was no coffee or tea in the room. Breakfast was average, nothing special, though it had a good range of hot and cold options along with coffee, tea, and juices.
