Hotel Sessellift

We were starving after moving into our new apartment and unloading and putting things together, so we ordered Indian food. It was a really disappointing meal. The naan seemed like pizza dough with chaat masala on it, the shahi paneer was tomato sauce with rubbery cheese, and the biryani tasted like tomato rice with sautéed frozen vegetables and sliced almonds. The lassi was bad too. I’ve eaten Indian food all over Germany, and this was the worst I’ve had. The chef needs cooking lessons. Save yourself the trouble and order somewhere else.

The staff were friendly, though the room wasn’t especially clean and there was a strong smell of food. For the price, it was an okay stay and I don’t have much else to complain about.

The host was very welcoming, and the place has a nice atmosphere. The food was delicious, with what felt like the real flavors of Indian cooking. Big thumbs up.

So far, this is the best Indian restaurant I’ve been to. The atmosphere is cool, and both the food and service were great.
