Apartment Hotel Konstanz

We'd happily stay here again. The breakfast spread was generous and varied, and we could borrow a capsule coffee machine for the room from reception at no extra charge. Our spacious, spotless bedroom had high ceilings and a little kitchen area. The staff made us feel welcome, and the hotel sits in a quiet spot close to the town centre. Great value for the price.

The apartments are huge, with a modest kitchenette that gives you some independence, and there's plenty of free parking. Breakfast is available in the mornings, and the staff are great. We loved staying here and would definitely come back. It's well placed in southern Germany, right on the Swiss border, with France, Austria and Lichtenstein easy to reach. The city has interesting sights, including a climb up the cathedral for great views of the city and lake. A drive-on, drive-off ferry across to the north side of Lake Constance runs regularly. No booking needed, and you pay on board. There's a supermarket about a 10-minute walk away.

Our family loved staying at the Apartment Hotel. The owner is such a kind, charming woman, and our son said she was like a fairy. The staff were wonderfully friendly, too. We also appreciated the large, convenient free parking area and the easy walk to grocery stores and the bus stop. The rooms had everything we needed, arranged simply and tastefully. Set in an old historic building, the hotel has spacious rooms, parquet floors and high ceilings that give it a lot of charm. We'd absolutely recommend Hotel Apartment for a stay in Konstanz.

We had a very comfortable room for our family of four. It's a beautiful, cozy hotel in a really good location.
