We paid €887.00 for six nights, which felt like a lot for the service we got. Parking was another €20 per day, and basic things like towel changes and room cleaning also cost extra. With no receptionist or staff available in person, we felt abandoned, and getting useful help was almost impossible. We sent several emails and rarely heard back. When someone did respond, it felt like a robotic auto-reply without real interest in solving anything. Check-in was another problem because nobody was there when we arrived late, so we had to pay the higher on-site rate even though we'd booked during the Black Friday promotion. Then we checked the prices during our stay and found the on-site rate was actually lower than the supposed Black Friday discounted price. We wound up paying about 200 euros more, which felt completely unfair and misleading. The value for money was very poor. Between the unclear pricing, lack of service and extra charges for basics, the whole stay was frustrating. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

The surroundings were peaceful, quiet and felt safe, and I had no problems during my stay. My room at Boardinghome House was roomy, clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and smooth. I was satisfied with everything and can recommend it with peace of mind.

The rooms are large and really clean. And the pillow was perfect, very comfortable 👌. Hotel pillows are often huge and hard, which I find uncomfortable, but this one wasn't like that. The place is fine, though it's not very central. The only downside is that there's no staff to check you in or out, everything runs through a machine.

We slept comfortably in a spacious, clean, modern apartment with a balcony and a well-equipped bathroom, including soap and a hairdryer. It felt quite luxurious, and there was a flat-screen TV too. Check-in was self-service at a machine on site, where we collected our key cards. We were cycling across Europe, and the short walk to the historic centre, with its bars, cafes, and restaurants, worked really well. Highly recommended.

We really liked the sustainable approach of this boarding house, and the breakfast staff were very nice. Check-in by yourself was straightforward, and the breakfasts were delicious. There’s underground parking with plenty of space, and the city centre is a comfortable distance away. A great place to stay in Konstanz.
