The Blanc and Noir apartment was spotless and set in lovely surroundings, and we appreciated being able to bring our small dog. They hold wine tastings on Wednesdays and Saturdays, too. One thing to keep in mind is how warm the apartment gets, so it might not suit a summer stay. For the price, especially compared with the hotel down the road, we hoped for a more comfortable mattress and a bit more character. The furnishings are very basic, and a few homely touches like cushions or something on the walls would help. All the notes and text were in German; having French or English available as another option would be nice. We stayed for two nights in May.

We were here for a wedding and came away recommending the place. The gardens are in excellent condition, and it was interesting to see the winery and learn about it. The buildings are lovely too. They were built by a banker and are now rented out for people to enjoy a few days there.

Schiefer was a lovely, bright apartment, and our dog was delighted with the garden. It's close to lots of Mosel/Saar wineries, which worked well for our wine trip. The place is all in German, though we managed fine since we speak a little German. Thanks for the stay!
