Hotel Touric is an easy 5-10 minute walk from Korbach’s center, which made it simple to explore the old town, shops and sights. The address is Medebacher Landstraße 10, 34497 Korbach, Germany. It’s a clean, pleasant hotel with kind, respectful staff. The rooms are modern and large enough for a stay of a few days, with comfortable furnishings, free high-speed Wi-Fi, a TV, private bathroom, coffee and tea station, and a minibar or small fridge depending on the room. Mine smelled of smoke, which bothered me, even though smoking isn’t allowed in the rooms. The breakfast buffet was always fresh and tasty. Indoor pool access is free, and there are three pools in different sizes for babies, relaxing and swimming. The sauna costs a few Euros.

There’s no restaurant of its own, so the other food options take a bit of walking, though they aren’t far. What stood out was how attentive the hotel was. They listened and helped me feel at ease, brought extra vegetables at breakfast when I asked, and helped set up the lounge TV so I could watch a basketball game in the evening. A very comfortable hotel and a very good stay.

The indoor pool was a great extra, and the renovation work going on inside didn’t disrupt us. Our room wasn’t new, but it was spotless, with complimentary water and a little chocolate. The staff were the real highlight, always helpful and quick to respond to our requests, which made the whole stay pleasant. We were very impressed.

The food was a real plus. Everything I tried was delicious, and the menu had plenty of choices for different tastes. I was very happy with my stay. The hotel is beautifully designed and well maintained, and the staff are some of the nicest people you could meet. Reception were especially welcoming, made check-in easy, and shared useful tips during my visit. I’d gladly recommend staying here.

An older hotel that’s been renovated, with beautiful facilities and everything working as it should. The lobby and pool are lovely, and the location is great. A really wonderful, special place. I recommend it.
