Pension Lehmann

We were warmly welcomed and were very happy with the facilities and the value for money. It's a pet-friendly guesthouse in an excellent location. A very nice place to stay!

I've stayed overnight in Köthen many times, and Pension Lehmann is easily the best option I've found so far. I was pleasantly surprised. Clean, tidy, and such good value for money. I was lucky to have access to the shared bathroom. Communication was brief and effective, and handing over the key was easy. Thank you.

It's been about a year since our stay. The rooms were clean and nicely furnished, and the price was really good, so the value was there. But I can only partly agree with the praise for the friendliness. We booked thinking the back entrance had one step, which would have been manageable, but it actually had three. I was there with two wheelchair users, and I need help with more than one step. Mr. Lehmann helped without hesitation at first, and it was quick and no big deal. After a few times, though, he got more and more annoyed and unfriendly. I also tried to avoid taking the wheelchairs in and out more than once a day because I didn't want to be a nuisance. It was clear pretty quickly how irritated Mr. Lehmann was with us. On departure day, I was ten minutes late getting our car from the lot. I got a rather unfriendly call asking when I was finally going to pick it up, as it was impossible... I was there five minutes later. The owners were very friendly when we arrived, but that changed fast, probably because helping further was too much trouble. I had planned to give them a few extra euros for what I first thought was kind assistance, but I changed my mind. I won't pay people after they've treated me rudely. This review doesn't really fit with the others, but there were specific circumstances where their friendliness disappeared.

A welcoming guesthouse beside a beautiful town, clean and centrally located, with a stair lift and a small pool. I'd love to come back. Dirk
