Gästehaus Schloss Kronburg

I felt completely at ease here and would happily come back. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and decorated with care. Gästehaus Kronburg is family-run and set in a spacious, well-kept spot with lovely views of the surrounding nature. The bathing pond, Kneipp pool, and barefoot path were a real treat for relaxing, and there’s also a sauna and infrared cabin. A great choice if you’re after some quiet in nature.

Apartment No. 3 worked well for our family of two adults and two children. The apartment was very clean, the beds comfortable, and the internet good enough for a day of working from home. We also made use of the sauna downstairs. Communication with the owners was excellent, and we loved the garden, the balcony view, and the neighborhood. We had a fantastic stay at the end of May. Thank you so much!

Countess Karoline is a wonderfully kind hostess, and the apartments are clean and beautiful, right below Kronburg Castle in the Allgäu region. There’s plenty to enjoy, including a swimming pond, Kneipp pool, Finnish sauna, and infrared cabin. Rooms in the castle can also be rented for celebrations such as weddings. Absolutely fantastic!

The garden is lovely and peaceful, just right for relaxing. There’s a natural pond for swimming a few laps, plus a Kneipp pool, with fresh water from a spring. The guesthouse sits below Kornburg Castle and has several holiday apartments. Ours was very spacious with its own terrace, and the kitchen had everything for self-catering, from dishes to a coffee maker. Breakfast and similar meals aren’t provided. It would be great to have somewhere nearby to buy beer or water. Illerbeuren and its farm museum are easy to reach by bicycle. Check which restaurants are open before heading out.
