The courtyard was a lovely, relaxing spot, and the large windows made my room bright. I had a huge room with twin beds and an extra bed tucked into the corner, plus a fan, fridge, and electric kettle. The price is hard to beat. There’s a bus stop a couple of minutes away, but since the hotel is outside Stralsund, you need a car to get into town. A Familia store is also just minutes away for whatever you need. Calling it a budget hotel had me expecting something like a motel by the runway, but it turned out to be much more than that.

The restaurant closes pretty early. Still, there are all kinds of shops nearby, and getting to Stralsund city center, including Meeresmuseum and Ozeaneum, takes just a few minutes by car. The rooms were large, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was a very good price, especially for travelling with children in a family room.

The beds are comfy, but this is a pretty basic hotel. Some rooms don’t have a fridge or electric kettle. The WiFi was terrible in my room, reconnecting every 10 seconds.

There was enough parking, and the staff were friendly. My room was spacious too. Breakfast could use more variety, like omelets or brown bread.

A party was going on in the hotel until 24h, so we couldn’t sleep. There was no phone number to call, and the baby was crying. A terrible experience.
