Dinner and breakfast were part of our stay, and both lived up to the positive reviews. The service was very good and the price fair. After a long day on the road, we were glad to find somewhere peaceful to sleep and a good meal.

Dinner was a highlight for us. We had reserved a table, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and happy to help; the food was delicious and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. When we arrived for our two-night stay at Hotel & Restaurant Thormählen, we were welcomed warmly and shown to our room promptly. My wife and I were really impressed by the service, and the stay was better than we expected. We'd recommend it for a getaway.

Breakfast had excellent bread, and we enjoyed a lovely steak, fries, and Cesar salad in the restaurant. The bed was comfortable and the hospitality great, though street noise starts as early as 530 in the morning. I'd ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

The restaurant serves tasty, generous dinners, though check the opening hours or call ahead. On Thursday, the kitchen is open from 17 till 21. Prices are above average, but the portions are really big and the food is good. The hotel itself has a large, clean room, a nice terrace overlooking the field, and a nice breakfast. There's a bug parking place near the hotel.

August 2nd 2020, one night. Lovely, lovely. I think it had been refurbished. The washroom was beautiful and clean, and the room was wonderful and clean, with 2 single beds and 2 sofa beds. The breakfast was nice too. Better than the 4 star hotels we visited in Hamburg and Berlin.
