Greetsieler-Börse

I only stopped in for a meal and a drink, so I can't comment on the hotel. Both the meal and the drink were very good.

Unhygienic.

We were there from December 29, 2025 to January 2, 2026, with six adults and two children, and felt comfortable the whole time. This was our first stay at the Greetsieler Börse, and the friendly welcome and attentive restaurant service made a great impression right away. Breakfast had plenty of choice for everyone, lunch was really tasty, and we enjoyed every dinner. Even as a big eater, I found the portions filling. We’ll definitely return, and I’d happily recommend the Greetsieler Börse.

The food was tasty and nicely presented, but the portions were so small that even a grown man wouldn’t be satisfied. For two main courses costing well over €50, we expected more. We mentioned our impression to the restaurant manager in person. The appetizer was good, but the portions felt more like something from a bistro, and our meal from arrival to payment took only 30 minutes. It’s a shame, because the food itself was enjoyable. Maybe the new owner will raise the standards. The fixed reservation time slots made it hard to relax over dinner. The tables are close enough that you can hear each other’s conversations, and when we lingered to talk, the staff’s stern looks made us feel we ought to leave. Their friendliness could use some work, too. A relaxed, cozy evening with a peaceful end just wasn’t possible for us.
