2H Hotel Horizon

A great hotel.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with a huge choice of fresh food and pastries made each morning. The team handling it deserves a big plus. Our room was small, but clean and tidy, though the pillows weren't comfortable. We stayed for six days in a very peaceful spot surrounded by lovely forest, which made it easy to relax. The beach was a five-minute walk away. The balcony could have had a little more privacy. One thing to factor in is the hotel parking at €15 a day, which I personally found too expensive. Still, I can definitely recommend the hotel.

The place was clean, well located, and reasonably priced. Check-in was less smooth: reception was often unattended, so we had to call and wait for someone to come over.

The staff at reception were consistently friendly, and the room was cleaned well every day. For a bed and breakfast place, the service was excellent. We didn't use the breakfast service, so I can't comment on it. The room did have a Smart TV and good Wi-Fi. Our standard room and bathroom felt very cramped and small. The door wasn't sealed properly, so we could hear every word in the hallway and even the front door opening. Since reception was directly opposite, conversations there carried into the room too. It was unpleasant when things got going at 8 a.m. while we might still be asleep. On arrival, we were given a bill for parking and tourist tax without any prior notice. The parking charge was €15 per night, whether or not we'd arrived by car or used the hotel's parking lot, as nobody asked. For a week-long stay, those extra costs are something to keep in mind.
