Landhotel Beck

The spa was nice, and the food was satisfactory, but the stay itself was disappointing. I was there with a group when the restaurant waitress spilled beer over two people next to me. My dinner took so long that most of the group had nearly finished by the time it arrived. None of us got a proper apology or any compensation. There was also an unpleasant manure smell around the hotel, so opening the room windows wasn't a good idea.

I hope they get proper ironing boards for next time, because the tiny ones are very uncomfortable. The staff were cool, and the food was quite good. The hotel is outside the town, and the rooms are spacious, new, and clean.

The new building was nice, but the way I was treated was awful. I won't stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I booked weeks ahead for a business trip to visit a nearby supplier, traveling with four colleagues from a famous OEM in Sweden. I booked first, and they followed later. When we arrived, I was the second to check in. My colleagues got rooms in the new part, while I was sent to an old, separate building across a small street. The room looked nothing like the photos, and the building smelled damp and musty. I went back to complain. The receptionist said there were no other rooms, so I asked for her manager. After a quick look at the computer, he said something to her. She began swearing in German, then I was given a regular room in the main building, with no upgrade. At checkout two days later, I asked another receptionist whether the two buildings had separate bookings. He confirmed that the old building was cheaper and had its own booking. I asked about mine, and he confirmed I'd booked and paid for a room in the new building. That upset me all over again. I asked him to file a complaint, but he refused, saying the problem had been solved and didn't need reporting.

The receptionist was rude and really unprofessional. The rooms were dirty and smelly, and the bed sheets had stains. It also isn't pet friendly. 0/10, I wouldn't recommend this shit hotel.
