Everything else was really great, but the mattress and pillows were far too soft. I woke up so stiff I couldn't walk or stand up straight.

The location worked well whether we wanted winter sports, a hike, or just some sun on the balcony. At Hotel Sonnbichl, the food was outstanding, with excellent quality, flavor, and presentation, and the portions were more than generous. The service was warm, attentive, and professional from the moment we arrived, and we felt very well looked after. They were also understanding with our dog. He barked once in the dining room, and the calm, friendly response really impressed us. We had a fantastic stay in a lovely atmosphere, beyond what we'd expected, and would love to return.

The dinner was the whole reason for our visit, so I can’t say anything about the rooms. We’d booked the “Hutessen” set menu, and there was so much fish, meat, fresh vegetables, and salad that we turned down more when the servers offered. A perfect evening, with two really friendly servers. We’d happily return and wholeheartedly recommend the SonnBichl.
