It's a quiet, nicely renovated hotel, but breakfast ended on an unpleasant note. I picked up an apple because I had a looong day ahead, and they told me to put it back on the table. I've never had that happen at a hotel before. I didn't even know taking it wasn't allowed, and honestly, I would've paid for it if needed. That's why I can only give it 3 stars.

The breakfast had everything needed and then some, and the price was fair. There isn't a restaurant in the hotel, though places to eat are within walking distance. My double room was comfortable, spacious and clean, but I could clearly hear doors opening and people talking, which shouldn't happen in every room. The staff were friendly and competent, with that family-run feel.

We stopped for one night after camping in Slovenia, and the friendly receptionist was very helpful despite our late arrival. The secured parking garage was a great feature. Our ‘comfort’ room was modern, spotless and thoughtfully laid out, with good lighting, careful finishing and all the facilities we needed. The bathroom was modern and spotless too.

The hotel is a bit outside the centre, but I recommend visiting the centre of Landsberg, which is a pretty typical German town. We had an economy room, so there was no elevator to the 1st floor. Parking is free, with a 7 euro extra charge if you want a covered spot. Breakfast was good quality, though scrambled eggs were the only option, not fried.

Landhotel Endhart makes a great base for exploring the area. The on-site parking was free, and breakfast was terrific in a lovely spot filled with natural light. At the front desk, we got useful local tips from someone with excellent English.
