I called to make a reservation, and they wanted my credit card number. Ridiculous.

I booked a four-day stay at Boardinghouse Landshut and, three days before arriving, messaged to ask if I could add another person. I wanted to be upfront about it. They told me the room was for one person only, but by the time that reply came, the free-cancellation period had ended. I was prepared to pay a reasonable fee, just not the full amount. There was no flexibility around changing the booking or cancelling, so I strongly advise against booking a room there.

At 153 euros, this so-called comfort room was outrageously priced. It was right beside the entrance, and the wall shook whenever the door moved. They had no other room available. The bathroom towel rack was broken, as was the “do not disturb” sign, and there was a mess of cables. Unfortunately, I have nothing positive to say.
