Hotel Goldinger

The charming rooms are right in the center of town, with plenty of public parking across the street. There’s a good bakery with lovely sweet treats, and the breakfast buffet is open to people who aren’t staying at the hotel too.

The staff were welcoming and gave us helpful suggestions for things to see locally. The hotel is well placed for walking around Landstuhl. Nanstein castle is about a 20-minute walk up the hill, and the natural pool is within a 15-minute walk. Our room was cute and clean. There’s no AC, just so you know, but that didn’t spoil our stay. The windows open, there are fans in the rooms, and they brought us an extra one. The bakery downstairs was delicious, definitely worth popping into for a snack. Breakfast was included and consistently good.

I’d happily book here again. I stayed six days, and the room was always warm and just right when I got back. Breakfast was delicious, and the central location put plenty of Landstuhl restaurants close by. The Christmas market was an easy walk too.

Bettina deserves a special thanks for making us feel so welcome. I was here recently for work and was really impressed. The hotel restaurant served delicious food, and it’s right in the town center, with plenty of other pubs and restaurants within walking distance. Ramstein airbase and other US military insulation are only minutes away. There’s even a castle a short hike up the hill. A must stay if you’re working in the area.
