We were lucky with the weather during our long weekend, and the apartment made the stay even better. The "Family Happiness" place was modern and tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and had a little garden behind the house. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the bathrooms were fantastic. We all slept wonderfully. There were four adults and five children, and we'd happily come back. Thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our long weekend here with the extended family. The small, secluded garden was lovely for playing and relaxing together, and the apartment still gave everyone plenty of privacy even when full. It's clearly set up with families and children in mind. The rooms are comfortably furnished, and I slept wonderfully, though that may also have been because we spent so much time outside. The kitchen is small but has everything needed to cook. We'd love to return!

We were 10 adults spending a relaxing weekend in the Harz Mountains, and this clean, cozy apartment near Goslar had everything we needed. Mareike and Jörn were incredibly kind and helpful. We'd love to come back! :)

Lauthenthal is a lovely little town, and the Harz scenery captivated us right away. The surroundings were very quiet, with plenty of activities for the children. We spent six nights here in July 2023 with four boys aged 9 to 15, and the apartment was so well equipped that we lacked nothing. Many thanks to the Tolkien family for a wonderful, relaxing holiday. We'll definitely be back.
