Pension Talblick

I chose this guesthouse for the pool, and we happened to be there during the hottest days of summer. After a day trip, it was a real highlight for our daughter. A few days have passed, but it definitely deserves a review. Booking by email or phone was easy and the people were very friendly. Breakfast was beautifully prepared. In the evening, you can take beer, cider, soft drinks and a few snacks from the adjoining room back to your room. They keep track of what you take on a tally sheet, like in the old days. It brought back a bit of childhood, and was lovely since there’s no fridge in the room. We could have a cold drink on the terrace in the evening. The room was clean and well maintained. As others have said, staying here feels like a pleasant trip back to the 70s. The rooms are beautifully renovated, and the outdoor areas, hallways and dining room, with their geraniums, add to that feeling. It suited my taste and budget perfectly for a couple of nights.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the price was excellent for what you get. Rooms are basic and practical, but a bit noisy. Bring a GPS, it’s impossible to find otherwise.

We were very comfortable here. The owners were friendly and accommodating, the rooms clean, and breakfast offered plenty of variety and tasted great. We’d definitely stay again.

Pension Talblick is a lovely hidden gem ❤️ I got lucky and found a room spontaneously while hiking in pouring rain on May 17, 2024. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, and even dried my shoes and clothes in the boiler room. The next morning, breakfast was wonderful and prepared just for me, with a panoramic view of the spa town. Thanks so much for such a lovely stay 🤗!
