Andrea and her son were there for us from the time we booked, with useful tips all through our visit. We stayed three nights in the pods with the kids, and found the pods, shared spaces, and grounds spotless and really thoughtfully designed. The playground just outside and nearby riding stables worked great for all ages. Such a lovely stay, we'd happily recommend it. Thanks!

Casa Benefizia is a great base if you want to explore: Weltenburg Abbey, the old Roman fortifications, Abensberg, known for its beer, and Regensburg are all under a half-hour drive away. Or you can just unwind there. The big garden has quiet little spots, and the wooden cabins look charming and suit the family-friendly feel of the place. There's a playground right beside the garden, too. The house has clearly been renovated and is cared for with a lot of attention. The apartments have modern, comfortable furnishings, with lovely details for anyone who enjoys traditional charm.

We ended up staying two nights in the pods on short notice, after flooding cut our Slovenia trip short. Even though we arrived very late, we got a warm welcome. The place was cozy and stylish, with a spacious bathroom and a kitchen stocked with everything we needed. It was all clean, and the little decorative touches were lovely.

The landlady is very friendly and happy to stop for a chat. This is a peaceful spot for a break, without feeling cut off, and a good choice if you'd rather not stay in the city. The attic apartment works especially well for a small family, with a big playground right outside. Daily essentials are only 5-10 minutes away, and Regensburg, Walhalla, Kelheim, and other sights are within about half an hour. One small summer drawback: mosquitoes may get into the attic, since skylights are hard to fit with screens ;-) A lovely, highly recommended apartment.

The kids had a playground right next door, and the house itself was beautiful, well equipped, and really peaceful. We had a very relaxing holiday and would gladly return.
