The live music with Stephan Langer, DEM Leipziger Musik-Urgestein, was a lovely touch. It was mellow and really funny, and he got the audience involved. It made you want to sing along, though in my case the other guests might have fled, which wouldn't be great for the business. This is something they should do regularly, not something that gets in the way. We ended up here by chance on a gorgeous day. Out of curiosity, we checked out the ferry and crossed over, then stopped at the restaurant after a walk through Gruna. The food is good, traditional German fare, with staples for everyone and a few extras, and it was presented with a lot of care. Prices being what they are these days, I can't expect a meal to cost 5,50€ anymore, and they've learned that here too. The service was pretty quick. The weather was perfect for sitting outside, and dogs are welcome, with something there for them too. The dishes and coffee settings of the Kaffeesachsen around us also looked really appetizing. Nothing to complain about.
