What stays with me most is how well the owner looked after me. The hotel itself is an old house, but inside it’s freshly painted, new, and very clean, with a cosy, romantic feel. Little touches make the place pleasant: flowers, decorations, umbrellas by the entrance, and even a small, inexpensive sweet on the pillow. As a chess player, I’ve travelled a lot and stayed in both lovely and bad hotels, so I really appreciate the feeling this place gives me.

It felt like a genuinely German stay, and everyone was so friendly. Marcel and the owner were kind and accommodating, the hearty breakfasts tasted great, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The WiFi worked reliably too.

A quiet, tidy little room, just what I needed while travelling for work and tired. The hotel felt clean and welcoming, the WiFi connection was great, and the location made it easy to find a quick bite, with plenty of pizza and kebab places as well as restaurants nearby.
